Visit Marbella

Thousands of vacationers come to Marbella looking its pleasant climate, the beauty of its lush landscape, its Spanish cuisine, and a vast cultural and historical heritage as well as the hospitality and friendliness of its people that have a very kind Mediterranean character.

Marbella is a beautiful coastal city in southern Spain belonging to the province of Málaga. And it’s tourist capital of the Costa Del Sol. The great tourist attraction of the city is Puerto Banus, located at about 7 km from the center of Marbella. This is a great leisure and tourist port full of glamour, parties, glitz and exclusivity.

Old town Marbella

When we say the word “Marbella”, the first thing that comes to mind is sun, beach, luxury, glamour and fun. In part it is true, indeed, but Marbella is much more than that. The city has one of the best preserved old towns of Andalucía.

You’ll fall in love with its typically Andalusian labyrinthine narrow streets dressed in colorful geraniums over white walls and squares that smell of jasmine and orange blossom. It is a small but charming neighborhood ideal to walk while slowly discovering the hidden secrets of this place as a historical and cultural heritage, such as the wonderful Museo del Grabado, declared of Heritage of Cultural Interest, the beautiful Iglesia de la Encarnación, located a few meters from the walls of the Castle and the popular Plaza de los Naranjos. A beautiful and lively place featuring shops, restaurants and terraces with a fabulous environment to visit both day and night.

 

Marbella beaches

This beautiful town has 27 km of coastline dotted with 24 beautiful beaches around its coastline. It is characterized by their long tongues of fine sand and calm waters. It features a wide variety of beaches. From long wild beaches with dune systems such as the Playa Real de Zaragoza, to centric beaches including services and of course, glamorous beaches with luxurious beach bars and nightclubs where you can enjoy the days and nights of Marbella, such as the Nikki Beach or Bounty Beach.

 

Sports and active tourism in Marbella

Lovers of active tourism will find here many companies which make the practice of all kinds of sports, water ormountain, many of them are activities for the whole family: Scuba diving, hiking, biking, horseback riding oroff-road, riding kayaking, sailing, bungee jumping or ballooningMore than 100 companies that make your favorite sport.
