GF Marbella
Marbella is a true treasure of the Costa del Sol. Located in the beautiful province of Malaga, this city has everything any tourist could wish for a perfect vacation. Its mild and sunny weather is simply unbeatable, with pleasant temperatures throughout the year.
Marbella is famous for its stunning white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters that are perfect for sun, sea, and water activities lovers. Moreover, if you are a true epicurean, you will definitely find a wide variety of high-end restaurants, bars, and shops that will provide you with a lively and vibrant atmosphere all day long, and is possible to find safe restaurants where a celiac can eat without being worried about cross contamination.
Restaurants
€-€€
(Mediterránean cuisine)
If you want to try the real cuisine of Andalusia you must come here! It is a very cozy family restaurant where they offer Spanish meats and seafood served in a dining room with stone details and bull heads hanging from the wall. It also has a large outdoor terrace where you can eat both in summer and winter. Inside they have hot/cold air conditioning. Both the owner Alfredo, his 2 children, and his employees are extremely helpful people, friendly and willing to help you in any way they can, and that is why it is possible that they can adapt many dishes for you.
What are the dishes you shouldn’t miss?
In general, they can adapt almost any dish! The most notable thing is that they can make gluten-free frying, fried fish or whatever, isn’t that exciting? 👏🏻
All dishes are served with French fries as a garnish that we can eat, because they are homemade and fried in a fryer ONLY for french fries.
If you like meat, you have to try their star dish, Venison fillets with mushroom sauce (picture up), you have to tell them to make the sauce gluten-free (they make it fresh and it is even better than the normal one).
- They also have gluten-free bread 😉
2.- Chiringuito los 3 pepes
Beach Restaurant by the sea with sunbeds with Mediterranean Kitchen and everything you would expect from it. The delicious food with a lot of variety (the skewers and fried food from Malaga stand out).
Fast service, very friendly staff and quality food make this place one of the best options to eat gluten-free fried fish in Marbella.
What are the dishes you shouldn’t miss?
If you ask, they can make gluten-free fish and french fries. The paellas are gluten-free and you should try their skewers in season (the months that do not contain R are when the sardines are best).
Recommended fried fish: “Chipirones” , squid and Boquerones al limón.
- They also have hot gluten-free bread with butter!
3.- Restaurante Corleone
Italian Restaurant in Marbella, spacious, decorated and a large terrace. It has a very extensive menu:
There are meats, fish, pizzas, fresh stuffed pasta, desserts, beer and all of this without gluten.
- They don’t accept credit cards 😬
- Ask for Pablo because he is the best waiter, always happy to help and advise you.
What are the dishes you shouldn’t miss?
They make the gluten-free pizza dough daily and bake it in a separate oven so there are no contamination problems.
My recommendation is: La Pizza Caprichosa.
A thin dough that has nothing to envy of a wheat pizza!
They also have gluten-free bread and beer.
4.- celicioso
Celicioso in Puente Romano Marbella, is the first completely gluten-free restaurant specialized in gluten-free cakes and detox juices. With modern decoration and a large indoor and outdoor area, with sofas and tables where you can have breakfast, lunch or snack without worrying about cross contamination.
What are the dishes you shouldn’t miss?
Celicioso’s breakfast menu is simply irresistible. From classic options to innovative creations, each dish is carefully crafted using high-quality, gluten-free ingredients.
You can enjoy options such as fluffy pancakes, gourmet toast, acai bowls, refreshing smoothies and a variety of delicious cakes and pies. The variety of options available ensures that all palates find something to delight.
My recommendations: The Lima cupcake, the Macarpone one and the red velvet. Banoffee and carrot cake. The chicken burger and curry pasta are very good.
- Prices are a little higher here.
3.- Manuka
In Marbella there are 4 Manuka Restaurants, where you can have breakfast, lunch, snack or even dinner, since they close at 11:00 p.m. For me, the one I like the most is the one inside the Alanda hotel right in front of Puente Romano, since it has a nice indoor area and a very nice terrace with outdoor tables and sofas, plus you can park comfortably in inside and then you just have to let them know when you leave that you have been eating there so you don’t have to pay for parking.
What are the dishes you shouldn’t miss?
Manuka’s restaurants has a modern decoration, international cuisine with most healthy options, gluten-free and even vegetarian options.
My recommendations:
For breakfast I recommend the Açai Bowl, it is quite large and comes with fruit and crunchy muesli. Their smoothies are very delicious, I recommend the Vitamin C-Booster or the Berry-Blast, both very rich and nutritious!
If you are going for lunch, I recommend that you order the Sweet Potato Fries that comes with a very delicious chipotle sauce (a little spicy) and try their Prawn taco. They have quite a few gluten-free options and they are all very delicious.
- Prices are a little higher here.
3.- sakura sushi
It is located in Puerto Banús, in a fairly quiet area, the waiters are very friendly and they have been open for many years.
This is one of my favorite places to eat sushi, since they adapt the sushi so that a celiac can eat there without a problem.
What are the dishes you shouldn’t miss?
Japanese restaurant with many gluten-free options.
Surimi contains gluten, so you have to replace it with something else and sauces should be avoided (teriyaki, etc.).
My recommendations:
1.- Kyoto Roll (without sauce)
2.- Ichiban Roll (the best)
3.- California tobico (change surimi for salmon)
4.- Tokyo roll (change surimi for fresh tuna)
- They have gluten-free soy sause.
3.- organic
It is a very nice and pleasant place located on the golden mile, right in front of Marbella Club Hotel. Almost the entire menu offers gluten-free and vegan options, both sweet and savory. It also has very delicious healthy juices!
It has an indoor area and a covered outdoor area. Be it a breakfast, or a brunch, or a meal. It is always a success.
It is not a cheap place, but in Marbella it is a bit difficult to find a place like this.
You can bring animals, and the place is very nice.
What are the dishes you shouldn’t miss?
1.- Benedictine eggs
2.- Vegan burger
3.- pizza
4.- Cheesecake
Pastry shops, cafes and ice cream parlors
€-€€
3.- Cafeteria Salduba
It is located in San Pedro de Alcántara, with a modern interior area and an exterior terrace.
Do you feel like eating a good sandwich or a chocolate Neapolitan (Pan au Chocolat)? This is your place without a doubt! They are bakeries, they make their own gluten-free breads and pastry you can even order gluten-free birthday cakes from them. It is a paradise for the sweetest celiacs!
What are the dishes you shouldn’t miss?
If you are going to have breakfast you should try their sandwiches, they have small or large gluten-free bread, and you can order anything from simple toast with butter and jam to a sandwich filled with meat, peppers, etc.
If you have some space for a sweet, I recommend that you try them since they are all very good!
My recommendations:
1.- Sandwich with Marinated loin, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise.
2.- Pan au chocolat ( Napolitana de chocolate)
3.- apple puff pastry
4.- Chocolate palm or carrot cake too!
- There is no danger of cross contamination
3.- Heladeria la Golosa
Ice cream parlor located in Puerto Banus, all ice creams have labeled allergens, including whether they are gluten-free. have gluten-free cone in individual packages, so definitely no cross-contamination really enjoyed!

Hoi An in 3 days – Itinerary
Chapters
3 days itinerary in Hoi An
"The city of my thousand colors"
Located on the banks of the Thun Bon River, Hoi An is one of the most beautiful and charming cities in Vietnam. Made up of Chinese, Japanese, French, Dutch and Indians who created the ancient city of Hoi An, turning its old town into one of the most influential commercial areas in all of Asia. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is a place anchored in time that has managed to preserve the same appearance it had centuries ago, back when it was an important commercial port.
DAY 1
Discovering Hoi An
Leave your accommodation in Da Nang to head to Hoi An, which is an hour away by car. Check in at your hotel in Hoi An and take a bike to go around the town.
We stayed at the “Golden Holiday Hotel & Spa” hotel, we paid about €33/night for a deluxe double room with a balcony. The hotel is new, the rooms are big and comfortable and it is a 15′ walk from the center. They offer you free bikes during your stay (also with baby seat).
13:00h - 15:00h
Have lunch at Restaurant Secret Garden and enjoy the best local food.
16:00h - 17:30h
Make your Clothes to measure.
Hoi An is known for its many tailor shops. You can design your own clothes here for great prices or use an existing example. These garments are custom made for you. You can design, for example, a suit, a dress or even a bag or shoes. We recommend the Bebe Taylor store, they have all kinds of quality fabrics and are very professional.
19:30h - 22:30h
Visit the beautiful Night market, where you can find all kinds of local food, as well as souvenirs, clothes etc. Do not forget to try the Vietnamese pizza.
DAY 2
Discovering Hoi An
10:00h - 14:00h
Visit the most important cultural places buying the “Old Town Ticket”, a Hoi An tourist voucher. The tourist ticket allows us to visit 5 tourist places from a list in which we find old houses, museums, temples, etc. We recommend to visit the followings:
120.000 Dongs (5€ aprox.)
1. JAPANESE BRIDGE.
The chùa cầu (Japanese bridge) is a covered stone bridge-pagoda in the city of Hội An, in central Vietnam, today a historical monument. It divides two traditional neighborhoods, the Chinese and the Japanese. Its construction lasted from 1593 to 1595. It is 18 meters long and its roof is made of wood. According to legend, the people of Hội An built the bridge to hunt a monster believed to be responsible for several earthquakes in the region. They believed that the stone pillars of the bridge were going to pierce the heart of the monster.
2. QUANG TRIEU CANTONESE ASSEMBLY.
A few meters from the Japanese Covered Bridge, on Tran Phu Street, is the Quang Trieu Cantonese Assembly. The Chau Tribe Assembly Hall was built in 1845. General Ba Phuc, who was said to be able to catch the calm and quiet air, was worshiped there. The Hall possesses special value in the architecture of skillfully carved wood and decorated wooden frame and many works made of glazed terracotta.
3. FUJIAN ASSEMBLY
Phuc Kien Assembly Hall is said to have once been a small temple dedicated to Thien Hau Thanh Mau (a goddess who protects merchants who sail the sea). Due to the restorations and the support of the people of Phuc Kien, the Assembly Hall became a spacious and resplendent hall that has Hoi An architecture participation in the embellishment. The arrangement of the cult statues in the hall signifies "human happiness" and deeply expresses oriental philosophy.
4. VAN DUC PAGODA.
The Van Duc Pagoda is one of the largest to see in Hoi An. What attracts the most about this pagoda is the main palace, which is divided into five different parts: three prayer spaces and two corridors. In addition, it is a place where you can see Buddhist monks.
5. CHUC THANH PAGODA
At the end of the 17th century, the priest Minh Hai founded Chuc Thanh Pagoda, in his time it was known as the site where Thien Chuc Thanh capitulated from the Thien Lam Te religion and the place where he lived. The pagoda was built in a combination of Chinese and Vietnamese architectural styles. Pilgrims come to Chuc Thanh Pagoda to worship Tam Phat, Di Lac, and La Han. In the pagoda, there is a statue of Quan Am “Bo Tat”, goddess of mercy, and it contains the tombs of Minh priests. Hai, from Thiet Tho, from Bich An, and from Thien Qua.
14:00h - 15:30h
Have lunch at Restaurant Café Tuan and enjoy the best local food. Do not forget to try their Cau Lau, white Rosey & Won Ton.
It is run by a very friendly local Vietnamese family, the treatment is unbeatable as is the quality of their food, they care about your food intolerances and in my case, they offered me with the best gluten-free options, and everything was delicious!
16:00h - 17:00h
Walk through its old town and take the opportunity to do some shopping, Hoi An is a place with a lot of local crafts, you will find many special things to take home a memory of this beautiful town. You can also buy clothing sets for the whole family with super fun prints, we chose this one!
17:00h - 18:00h
Stop at a very special tea house called “Reaching Out Tea House”. All the people who work there are deaf, it is a very special place.
At the back of the store you will find a shop where they create handmade jewelry, crockery and many other objects, it is a place full of corners that will surprise you!
20:30h - 22:00h
Dinner at the Vietnamese Firefly restaurant .
DAY 3
Discovering Hoi An
09:30h - 14:00h
Excursion to know the sanctuary of My son, a set of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples, built between the 4th and 14th century by the Champa kings (Chiêm Thành in Vietnamese).
Book your experience with GET YOUR GUIDE
14:30h - 16:00h.
Lunch at Nhan’s kitchen local food. They know about gluten free!
Another option if you don’t want to eat Vietnamese food is to go to the restaurant “Good morning Vietnam” where you will eat pasta as good as if you were eating it in Italy.
16:00h - 20:00h
Have a coffee with a wonderful cheesecake! There is a place called Lagom Coffe & Bakery where you can enjoy delicious pastries, and they have gluten-free options! You have to try the salted caramel and pecan cheesecake, it’s just AMAZING!
20:00h - 21:30h
Dinner at Com Linh ( they know gluten). We recommend you to try the duck!
21:30h - 23:00h
Enjoy drinks on Market Bar. This cozy terrace has beautiful views to the local market square.
The team is very friendly and always willing to help you in any way they can. They organized my brother-in-law’s birthday there, they put some balloons for us and they ordered the best cake (Gluten free). The snack-type food was very good, the homemade french fries with their different sauces (which are more good), the Guacamole, the Cocktails, everything! We recommend it 100%.
- If you need to celebrate a special occasion, they offer you the possibility of ordering a cake, they work with the best pastry shops in Hoi An and the price is very good!
VISA
If we are going to make a trip to Vietnam, the first thing we should take into account is that if our stay is going to be longer than 15 days, we will need a visa to enter Vietnam, and among the types of visas that can be processed, the e Visa Vietnam is the fastest and easiest way to obtain it.
The electronic Visa for Vietnam, or eVisa, is a type of visa aimed at those people who are going to be visiting the country for up to 30 days, and plan to enter the country through the entry points that are enabled for it.
The visa is valid only for a single entry into the country. So if we leave the country before 30 days, we will have to process a new visa.
You can check the updated list of countries that can process the visa online from here.
To obtain any of the visas or visa exemptions for Vietnam it is mandatory to comply with the following General Regulations:
- Passport with 6 Months of Validity.
- Passport with 2 Blank Pages (without stamps or visa from other countries on at least two pages),
- Vietnam Exit Ticket, sometimes the authorities check that you have a Vietnam exit ticket with date prior to the expiration of the visa or visa waiver.
- If you are Spanish, you have the right to a Simple Entry to Vietnam for a period of time not exceeding 15 consecutive days without the need for a visa.
For the latest updates on Covid Travel Requirements please click here.
HOW TO VISIT
All you need is the Grab app on a smartphone with a local SIM and all your city-based transportation needs are sorted.
You can buy an eSIM online here with 5GB internet for a 15 days stay.
Grab is a mobile app that allows you to book cheap and safe taxi service. The app matches passengers with taxi drivers for transport with cars and motorbikes.
Often times, taxi drivers see tourists as ideal marks for taking the scenic route and jacking up the fare. This is true everywhere.
We recommend that you book a private transfer to go from Da Nang to Hoi An:
– VINA TRAVEL – You can whatsapp them at +84 905 296 869
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The best time to visit Vietnam is between November and April.
The weather in Vietnam can be split by region. In Hanoi & the north, May to October is hot and humid with high rainfall; November to April is cooler and dry. In the far north, December & January can be particularly cold.
Central Vietnam experiences hot, dry weather between January & August when temperatures can hit the mid-30°C’s; whilst high levels of rainfall can occur in September, October & November.
Southern Vietnam is generally dry and hot from November to April, and warm and wet between May & October, with the highest rainfall in June, July & August.
WHERE TO EAT
Vietnamese cuisine is reputed to be one of the best in Asia and caters for all tastes. It is based on fresh ingredients and cooked at the moment. The most common are chicken, beef and pork, fish and shellfish, abundant aromatic herbs, rice and rice noodles, soy and fish sauces.
What is bánh trang nướng?
Often called Vietnamese pizza, bánh trang nướng is a Vietnamese snack that appeared about 20 years ago. Bánh tráng is the name of rice paper and nướng means roasted, so we could translate it as roasted rice paper.
The most famous dish in Vietnam is Phô soup, but here in Hoi An the typical dishes that you must try are the following:
1. Cao Lau (Cao Lầu)
2. Fídeos Quang (Mỳ Quảng)
3. Arroz de pollo (Cơm Gà)
4. Banh Mi (Bánh Mì) . There is a perfect place to try it in the center of the old town, make click here.
FOR LUNCH:
- Café Tuan for the best local food. Do not forget to try their Cau Lau, white Rosey & Won Ton.
- Nhan’s kitchen. Local food, the know about gluten free!
- Good morning Vietnam. Italian restaurant with a very good quality in the old town, must try their home made pizza and pasta!
FOR DINNER:
- Cena en Firefly restaurant restaurante vietnamita.
- Com Linh ( the know gluten). We recommend you to try the duck!
- The night market, where you can try the popular Vietnamese pizza.
BEST HOTELS
In Hoi An you can find a wide variety of accommodation at really low prices and luxury hotels that will make your stay unforgettable. We are going to recommend you two of the hotels we have been to, which we can highly recommend.
As soon as you arrive, they invite you to sit down while you check in, on comfortable sofas while they serve you a delicious Hibiscus tea.
We had a Suite with views of the city and it cost us about 110€/day with buffet breakfast included.
The bed was very comfortable and the pillows too, you had one high and one low, and we appreciated it because in most hotels the pillows are very high. The bathroom was lovely, we had a great shower and bath, we had a balcony overlooking the pool.
The buffet was just amazing, very big, it had different stations of eastern and western foods, there were so many options and all of them were very good!
The hotel had free bicycles available to guests, and although it is very close to the center, they are very useful for exploring the entire town and getting to know all its corners.
The pool area was very large, and although we didn’t get the chance to swim in it, it looked amazing!
We had the deluxe double room with balcony and it cost us 33€/night with buffet breakfast included. The room was large, the beds and pillows comfortable, and it had a large bathroom inside with a bathtub.
The establishment offers bicycles for free to guests, several have baby seats in the back to be able to move with the little ones.
The buffet was good, it was basic but there were enough options, although in my case, I am celiac, I hardly had anything, so we used to go often to a very good coffe shop that is 350 meters from the hotel Called Rosie’s, it had everything and it was super Nice! The coffee was very good, they offered a lot of western breakfast options, the price was a little higher than what you find in the rest of Vietnam but it’s worth having breakfast there.

The island of Bali is the best known and most touristic in Indonesia. Famous among surfers, it has some of the best waves in the world, among lovers of relaxing vacations, among hikers and backpackers, and among bohemian artists and spiritual seekers. Bali attracts a mix of people as diverse as its landscapes. It has mountains full of vegetation and animals (especially monkeys), infinitely long beaches, rice terraces that decorate the entire island, huge volcanoes with lakes at their feet, cliffs and it is surrounded by coral reefs. The great variety of landscapes that the island offers in its 145 km long and 80 km wide is incredible. It also transmits spirituality due to the numerous Hindu temples and festivals that are celebrated every year (the majority of its inhabitants are Hindus), and it is the refuge of more than one Westerner who arrived decades ago and decided to stay forever, whether it was riding a business or engaging in spiritual pursuits.

HOW TO VISIT
Getting around Bali isn’t hard. With the many taxis and transport drivers about if you don’t want to drive yourself you don’t have to.
If you’re going to drive a car here, ensure you have a current international license. If you’re going to ride a scooter, make sure you’re familiar with the roads and the—admittedly lenient—road rules. Having said that, foreigners on bikes always seem to get pulled over more than the locals. Expect heavy traffic most days in the tourist areas.
Motorbike: The Balinese prefer this mode of transportation because it’s cheap and you can bypass the traffic jams. Moreover, you can get to places where cars can’t go.
Traveling by motorbike gives you a sense of freedom. Especially when you use Google maps. This app will guide you to every corner of the island.
You can rent these scooters for Rph 60.000 to Rp. 125.000 for exactly 24 hours. The price depends on the location, the number of other rental options nearby or your ability to bargain. Discounts are usually possible when renting for 3 days or longer.
The price includes two helmets and you return the bike with a full tank. If you decide to tour around a bit longer than planned the owners are always happy to extend the rental period. You can do this by phone of course.
Due to the heavy traffic, we recommend traveling between villages by private driver or shuttle bus. It’s less tiring and you will not be inhaling the traffic fumes. Once in the village, you can rent a motorbike and from there tour around the area.
We recommend you to rent a bike with Darma rent a Bike.
You can whatsapp them at +62 819 – 1666 – 3383 and organize the rental of the motorcycle in advance, as well as having it delivered to your hotel on the day and time you want at no additional cost.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
In Bali you can expect a tropical, warm, and humid climate all year round.
There are only two main seasons in Bali: dry season and wet season. The dry season runs from April to September and is exactly that. Hot dry days with brilliant blue skies and a temperature of around 86 F.
The eastern side of the island receives strong winds from June to August—this is when the skies are filled with high-flying kites—and cools things down some.
From late October to early March, expect rainy season. In the beginning there are unexpected downpours randomly through the day, but by December to February anticipate extended days of rain and cloudy skies. It’s not cold and everything continues as normal, but I do find I miss the sunshine after a while.
WHERE TO EAT
IN JIMBARAN :
Sunset beach bar & Grill It is a place facing the sea where you can eat or drink something and relax. Its located at 13′ from the main airport in Jimbaran area. do not miss the most beautiful sunset!

Top 8 must see in Luang Prabang. LAOS 🇱🇦
There are a lot of top things to do in Luang Prabang, and each one is more memorable than the last.
Luang Prabang is one of the most recommended destinations if you have decided to travel to Laos for tourism. It is a very religious and quiet city, although at night, the Luang Prabang night market comes alive and there is much more atmosphere..
Top 8 must see:
Kuang Si Falls : Best waterfalls
A special and highly recommended place to visit would be the Kuang Si Falls. The falls are part of a small natural environment where we can swim, eat in some picnic areas and visit a bear recovery center.
They are the perfect place to take a bath and relieve ourselves from the humid and sticky heat of Luang Prabang. Next to each turquoise pool there are signs that indicate whether or not bathing is allowed.
The Kuang Si Falls are open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the price is 20,000 Kips per person. 7
The famous night market
The night market is located on Sisavangvong Road. It is one of the liveliest in all of Southeast Asia: you can see from stalls selling hats made of rice paper, clothing, handicrafts, etc…
An important reason to visit the night market is that some beach bars and street stalls are set up that are dedicated to tempting tourists and locals with an irrefutable buffet offer. It’s really cheap and you can try everything. They also have a wide range of artisan sweets with different flavors that are delicious. Dining there is a highly recommended experience!
Hike up to Mount Phou Si
One of the best things to see and do in Luang Prabang is to climb the steps to the top of Phou Si Mountain, a 100-meter-high mountain that sits right in the center of the city. Once at the top, incredible views of the Wat That Chomsi temple, the Mekong River and all the nature that embraces Luang Prabang await you.
Royal Palace
A unique and special place would be the Royal Palace, where the Laotian monarchy once resided when Luang Prabang was the capital. Currently, the site houses the National Museum (entrance around €2) with objects that belonged to the royal family, such as a room for special gifts and gifts from other kings. You can also see a private collection of cars from the time or the throne room, which is spectacular, and the Wat Haw Pha Bang temple that guards the figure of the Buddha Pha Bang that gives the city its name and that, according to legend, was brought Sri Lankan. Both this temple and the rest of the outer enclosure can be freely visited (the ticket is for the museum).
Buddhist temples
We already told you that Luang Prabang hides many Buddhist temples among its tree-lined streets. It will be difficult for you to see them all, but you can’t miss at least these: Wat Xieng Thong, probably the most beautiful of all with a spectacular golden facade; the Wat May Souvannapoumaram; the Wat Wisunarat; and the Wat Xieng Mouane. We recommend that you choose a whole day to see these temples and enjoy the magical streets that lead you to them.
Kieng Men village
Luang Prabang sits on one bank of the Mekong and on the other side is the tiny village of Kieng Men: if you want to get to know it and enjoy a rural and quiet corner, you just have to get on a little boat that for a few cents and in a few minutes will take you to the other side. On that other bank of the Mekong there are also interesting places to discover, such as the Wat Xiang Maen and Wat Tham Sakkalin temples (with a cave that can be visited) or Wat Jom Phet on top of a promontory with beautiful views of Luang Prabang.
Sunset view point
Sunset view point”, a moment for you. The best thing is to get yourself a cold Lao beer beforehand and sit on the stairs that overlook the river, or choose to go to a terrace-bar that you will find on the same street. As a third option (and perhaps the most attractive) we have a sunset cruise on the Mekong, most romantic! You know, you can negotiate it there with a local boatman/agency.
Pak Ou Caves
And finally, we advise you to do another excursion, traveling up the Mekong river. The one that will take you in a boat to the Pak Ou caves, also known as the Caves of the Thousand Buddhas, because inside there are many statuettes, gifts from the pilgrims who came there. We propose this complete excursion (with a stop at what is known as the Whiskey Village for its famous production of laolao rice whisky).

Paradise is in Thailand: Ko Chang and Koh Kood 🇹🇭
Thailand has two beautiful jewels!
Is a country in Southeast Asia. It is famous for its tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins, and temples adorned with Buddha figures.
It is called the country of smiles and is one of the most hospitable and warm countries in all of Southeast Asia.
There are many islands in Thailand that are worth seeing and spending a few days. If you are looking to see the most beautiful sunsets you should visit Ko Chang and if you want to swim in the most crystal clear waters in all of Thailand you cannot miss the island of Koh Kood. These two islands are very close to each other and it is a perfect plan to visit them both at the same time. We recommend that you first visit Koh Chang for about 4 days and then Koh Kood for 3 days. These two islands still maintain the essence of what Thailand is since they are not as touristy as, for example, Phuket or Koh Samui, but the good thing is that they have many plans to do and have fun. Below we explain what to visit in these two jewels of Thailand.
KOH CHANG
Koh Chang or the elephant island in Thai, is located just over 300 km from Bangkok and is an ideal destination to start discovering the islands of Thailand or even to end your trip through the country with a last beach stop. Located in the province of Trat, Koh Chang is the second largest island in the country, after Phuket. Although it is close to Bangkok, it still maintains that touch of a quiet island to spend a few days relaxing, enjoying the sun, the sea and discovering all the wonders that the island hides.
It is a quiet island but with a lot of life. If you are looking for a place to relax and see the best sunsets in Thailand, this is your island. We were surprised when we visited it for the first time since it is not very touristy. We can say that Ko Chang is one of the most complete and magical islands we have seen. It has everything you need to enjoy it, beaches with crystal clear waters, waterfalls, jungle, temples, night market, restaurants of different nationalities, good hotels and excursions of all kinds. Here below we give you some recommendations so that you can enjoy it to the fullest.
Things to Do !
– Visit Bang Bao Beach: It is a very quiet beach with a lagoon behind that you can navigate.
– Visit Kai Bae Beach: One of the most spectacular beaches on the island with almost 2.5 km of white sand. The ideal place to get lost.
– Visit White Sand Beach: The most touristic beach on the island and where most of the resorts are concentrated.
– Visit Than Mayom Waterfall:
With its 4 levels, Than Mayom Waterfall is the most important waterfall on Koh Chang.
– Visit The Wat Klong Prao. The most important temple on the island and the venue for the Songkran and Loi Kratong festivals.
– Visit War Memorial Monument: Just to the south of the island we can find the War Memorial Monument dedicated to all those who fell in the Franco-Thai war that took place in 1941.
– Diving in Koh Chang: The main diving centers are located in the southeast of the island and its main diving spots are within the Mu Koh Chang Marine Natural Park.
KOH KOOD
It is known to be a paradise island. Its crystal clear waters and soft sand define it as a unique place to relax. It is not a very touristic island since it is not as well known as Phuket or Koh Samui, this makes it more virgin and with few infrastructures. In any case, it has a wide range of medium-high level hotels. Koh Kood offers many activities to do such as diving, exploring the island by motorcycle, kayaking, fishing, visiting waterfalls and excursions through its jungle, these are some of the many things you can do on the island, and the best thing is to bathe in its waters. crystalline. One plus point is that it is also close to Koh Chang which is a bigger island with lots to do. We recommend spending a few days on each island and enjoying Thailand in two different ways.
Things To Do !
Visit the beaches:
– Ao Klong Chao: Located on the west coast, it is the most famous beach on the island and with the most variety of accommodation.
– Bang Bao: Calm beach with crystal clear waters is well known for its good snorkeling.
– Ao Phrao: Located to the south west of the island, it is a quiet bay with a spectacular beach, perhaps the most beautiful on the island.
– Snorkeling: Take a boat trip where you can see the seabed of Koh Kood. In this excursion food and drinks are included. There are several stops, on a Virgin Island, another to snorkel, see an area where there are statues at the bottom of the sea next to a beautiful coral. This excursion is the best of the island and you cannot miss it.: Take a boat trip where you can see the seabed of Koh Kood. In this excursion food and drinks are included. There are several stops, on a Virgin Island, another to snorkel, see an area where there are statues at the bottom of the sea next to a beautiful coral. This excursion is the best of the island and you cannot miss it. We recommend the company BB Dive for this excursion.
– Visit Khlong Chao Waterfall.
The most famous waterfall on the island. Located near Ao Klogn Chao, it is ideal to take a good bath and cool off when visiting the island by motorcycle. There is also the Khlong Yai Ki Waterfall, located in the northern part of the island, it is also ideal for a good swim in its natural pool.
– Kayaking on the Khlong Chao River.
This small river that will flow into the bay of Khlong Chao is perfect for practicing a bit of kayaking. You can even go sailing to the vicinity of Khlong Chao Waterfall.
