How do I take bookings?

Travelers always pay securely on our website. They request to book with you right from your listing, or you can send them a quote.

How to upgrade my place to featured?

Log in to your host dashboard and click “edit” on the property you want to get featured, and you will see the option above on the right.

Instant book or reservation request?

1.- INSTANT BOOKING

With Instant Book, travelers who meet your requirements and agree to your house rules, can book your rental without submitting a booking request. As long as the travelers’ dates are available, the booking will be instantly confirmed.

How does it work?
  • Making your life easier: This feature removes the need for you to have to respond to each and every request (and, in turn, removes the risk of you being labelled an ‘unresponsive’ host) which means more time for you and your family.
  • Making their life easier: Many guests are booking accommodation on the run. They are logging on at airports and train stations – trying to book somewhere to stay for the night. Or sitting with their laptops trying to plan a holiday with limited time. These guests can use filters so that only accommodation with Instant Book appears in their searches. They want hassle-free booking and Instant Book provides that.
  • Moving your property up the list: The Instant Book feature benefits
    your response rate for your listing which has the potential to move you up the list when it comes to search results.
  • Superhost status: To secure Superhost status on Airbnb you need to be a host that has at least a 90 percent response rate. By allowing Instant Book, your chances of achieving this status are increased.
2.- RESERVATION REQUEST:
When the traveler submits a reservation request, you can manually approve or reject it from your dashboard before they can make payment and complete the reservation.
If you have your property in different holiday rentals platforms you can sync your calendar by ical, like this availability will be always updated.

What kind of space can I list?

We advertise everything from private rooms to entire houses. Travelers book on our sites because they seek the flexibility and value that they simply can’t find at a hotel.

How to get in touch with my guests?

We’ll notify you via email that you have new request from a traveler. You can read and reply to all of your messages from your Douvle account’s Inbox, which helps you prioritize the items that need your attention the most.

How to get paid?

With online bookings, we provide payment protection by taking all payments securely online and transferring the money to your chosen account after the guest has checked in.

How payments work

Money is transferred approximately 24 hours after the check-in stated on the booking confirmation. This only happens on working days.

If you’d chosen for the money to go to a:

  • Bank account, transfers normally take 3-5 working days
  • PayPal account, transfers normally happen the same day

Very occasionally, we may experience delays from banks or PayPal. If you haven’t received your money, please allow a further 24 hours before contacting us.

Please set your payment methods in your dashboard to be sure you will receive the money of the rentals.

You can check the status of all your payments, for confirmed bookings, on the invoice page in your account.

How to cancel a revervation?

You can cancel the reservation before the start of the rental but your positioning and visibility will be affected and to do it more than once we reserve the right to remove your ad from our website. Likewise, you will be eligible for the superhost category if you cancel more than twice in a year.
